Confection Essentials
1.1by Tom Kennedy |
Intended to meet the needs of the professional designer, this unique font features a total of 67 different ornamental panels, scrolls and frames. Each design has been carefully drawn by Tom Kennedy to match the early 1900's era. You'll find these are a nice complement to Tom's other old fashioned fonts like "Confection" and "Bootcut".
Completely vector just like a regular text font. Scale and color to fit your needs. Works well in any application that supports Postscript OpenType. Each letter generates a different design. Download printable keyguide here.
IMPORTANT NOTES FOR CORELDRAW USERS
This font works very well in CorelDRAW, but because of the large file size and complexity of the designs, you must follow special procedures when converting the font to vector curves. Failure to do so will result in erratic behavior and/or crashing. If you are using...
CorelDRAW 8-12 -- Do NOT use "Arrange > Convert To Curves" as you normally would with text. Instead, choose "Arrange > Shaping > Weld". The result is the same.
CorelDRAW X3/X4 -- Do NOT use "Arrange > Shaping > Weld" as earlier versions must. Instead, choose "Arrange > Convert To Curves" as you normally would with text.
